Current research and research goals

Resilienze For Life – A Game to Develop Resilience.

In 2015 it was my desire to provide clients with a way of learning resilience that was incorporated real life situations and also would be fun to play.  The intention was to provide a game for education and therapy purposes that was consistent with game theory and one that would incorporate the dynamics of resilience along with incorporating App Technology.  The project and product were successfully completed in 2017 with the launch at the International Game Convention in New York in February 2017.

During the design and production period I consulted and worked with:

  • An internationally recognised game designer,
  • Wrote the coding for the app – and ultimately published to Google Play and Apple.
  • Managed a worldwide team including
    • Game designer – Australia
    • App Developer – Ghana
    • Voice Over team – East and West coast USA
    • Graphic Artist – Indonesia
    • Production Assistants – China
    • Web Designer
    • Photographer and Marketing professionals

The game has been widely accepted and is currently in use in training situations in Tasmania and Queensland.

A report from a group of young people who played the game is being completed.
